Lots of great-looking PS4 and Xbox One games are coming, as well as many PC and Nintendo Switch games too. Here are some games we are most excited about for 2017 and beyond.

Scalebound is one of the games that won’t make it into 2016, as Microsoft has delayed the game to 2017 so as to have a PC release of the game too and for the reasons unknown. Developed by Platinum Games, developers of Metal Gear Rising: Vengeance, is an awesome game from it's look, having stunning graphics and the concept of Dragons as allies, is too awesome to miss.

For Honor

Developer: Ubisoft Montreal
Publisher: Ubisoft
Release Date: February 14, 2017
Platforms: PS4, PC and Xbox One

For Honor looks like nothing else we’ve played before. For Honor is an action hack and slash video game set during a medieval period inspired fantasy setting. Players can play as a character from three different factions, namely The Legion, The Chosen, and The Warborn. The three factions represent knight, samurai, and Vikings, respectively. Each faction has four classes. The Vanguard class are described as "well-balanced" and has excellent offense and defense. The Assassins class are fast, are very efficient in dueling enemies, but they deal much less damage to enemies. The Heavies are more resistant to damages and suitable for holding capture points, though their attacks are slow. The last class, known as "Hybrids", are said to be a combination of the three types, and is capable of using uncommon skills. All heroes are unique, and have their own weapons, skills, and fighting styles. So here we are all holding our breathes and waiting to see that just what will this game bring to us in 2017.

Halo Wars 2
Developer: 343 Studios
Publisher: Microsoft
Release Date: February 21, 2017
Platform: Xbox One, PC
Genre: Real-Time Straegy

Halo Wars wasn’t all that great in its first release, but it was good-enough that we’re curious about a sequel. Hopefully, Halo Wars 2 will take a less dumbed-down approach to the console RTS genre than its predecessor did, because the original was a bit too basic — to the point where it didn’t have a ton of replay value. The game will have two factions, the UNSC and the Banished, and the campaign will have thirteen missions. There is also being introduced a new way of playing the RTS type games by the developers called the Blitz mode. In it rather than building bases and stuff you get a deck of cards which can be transformed into units and used in game at required time. We will see that how well does it go.

Yooka Laylee

Developer: Platonic Games
Publisher: Playtonic, Team17
Release Date: Q1 2017
Platforms: Xbox One, PS4, PC, Wii U
Genre: 3D Platformer

The spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie, Yooka-Laylee, has also been pushed back into 2017, and for now, it’s one of our most anticipated games of next year. The game is made by BK designers Chris Sutherland, Steve Mayles and Steven Hurst, and Grant Kirkhope is set to return as a composer.

Mass Effect Andromeda

Developer: BioWare
Publisher: EA
Release Date: Q1 2017
Platform: PS4, Xbox One, PC
Genre: RPG, Third Person Shooter

Well it's made a big discussion, the delay of this game to 2017, but likely it's a good thing at least we won't see and crappy performance issues or game breaking bugs or something(keeping BioWare's history in mind).Andromeda will take place long after the events of the Mass Effect trilogy, and players will be able to take on the role of a male or female human character. What’s more, we now know that we’ll be able to pilot a Mako, a customizable six-wheeled vehicle. So cool right, Right??

Vampyr

Developer: Dontnod
Publisher: Focus Home Interactive
Release Date: TBA 2017
Platform: PS4, Xbox One, PC
Genre: Action RPG

Who here loves Vampires and has wanted to play an AAA Vampire game for some time now???? ME, well yeah it's that but other than that the game is anticipated for it's developers who made the awesome games Remember Me and Life is Strange in the last few years. This game has a much darker story while revolving around a vampire doctor who is forced to come to terms with his undead condition. He’ll battle his own demons as he struggles to fight his need to abide by the Hippocratic Oath when all he wants to do is throw back some shots of blood. Dontnod notes that it’s entirely possible to complete the game without taking a single life. And, it’s interestingly set in 1918 London during a Spanish flu pandemic. So, there’s that.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite
Developer: Capcom
Publisher: Capcom
Release Date: TBA 2017
Platform: PS4, PC, Xbox One
Genre: Fighting Game

Like its predecessors, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is a fighting game in which players fight against each other using characters from both the Marvel Comics universe and Capcom's video game franchises. Infinite will feature two-on-two partner battles, similar to Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes and earlier installments in the franchise.
Unlike past entries, the game does not allow players to call in assist attacks; instead, characters can be immediately swapped at any point, including during the middle of a combo, similar to Street Fighter X Tekken. It will be nice to finally see a Marvel fighting game on PC.

Resident Evil 7 Biohazard

Developer: Capcom
Publisher: Capcom
Release Date: January 24, 2017
Platform: PS4, Xbox One, PC
Genre: Horror, Thriller

It was an incredibly well done reveal on Sony’s part, and they surprised everyone at E3 by announcing Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, despite the fact that it’s not a PS4 exclusive. The game will also be coming to PC and Xbox One in January 2017. For the first time in the main series (excluding Survivor), Resident Evil will go first-person, and Capcom says that gamers shouldn’t expect a “gun fest.” What’s more, herb gathering is back, baby! And, there will be no quick time events in the game. It’s quite possible that this could be the best Resident Evil game ever made, or it could be Capcom just cashing in on the brand — only time will tell.

Prey
Developer: Arkane Studios
Publisher: Bethesda
Release Date: TBA 2017
Platform: PS4, PC, Xbox One
Genre: First Person Shooter

The return of Prey is upon us, and oddly enough, it’s getting rebooted after its first try. Now, Arkane Studios will try to revive the long dormant Prey franchise with a new psychological first person shooter that looks to be a formidable and thrilling experience with an interesting story.
Prey takes place in an alternate timeline where United States President John F. Kennedy survived the assassination attempt in 1963. And the awesome  space program is signal beacon for aliens to invade, next the superpowers of the world band together to fight and capture the aliens named Typhon and using a space ship named Talos 1 and so the story continues. Though the core is the same but according to the developers it's going to be a completely different game.

Ghost Recon Wildlands
Developer: Ubisoft Paris
Publisher: Ubisoft
Release Date: March 7, 2017
Platforms:Xbox One, PS4, PC

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is an upcoming tactical shooter that will be the tenth installment in the Ghost Recon franchise. It will feature an open world environment, and looks to draw influences from Just Cause 3 and Grand Theft Auto 5.  The game will be set in modern times this time, and the open world will feature a variety of environments (indicating that the map is likely huge). It will be filled with co-op features but also have a single player mode. And will allow many dynamic elements to affect the game like weather, day-night cycle and such.

Tekken 7
Developer: Bandai Namco
Publisher: Bandai Namco
Release Date: Early 2017
Platforms: Xbox One, PS4, PC

While Japan has already been enjoying the fast-fighting gameplay of Tekken 7 in the arcades, we’re all awaiting its PS4/Xbox One/PC debut in the west. We’re told that it will hit retailers at some point in 2017, although we surprisingly don’t have an official concrete release date for the popular fighting game just yet. The new game will introduce Rage Art and Power Crush, two new mechanisms that make the franchise even better. All of the latest game trailers for it look great, and we’re on the edge of our seats for a release date.

Pyre

Developer: Supergiant Games
Publisher: Supergiant Games
Release Date: TBA 2017
Platforms: PC, PS4
Genre: Action RPG

Supergiant Games has a couple of great games under their belt with Bastion and Transistor, and that’s the main reason we’re excited for Pyre, their upcoming 2017 game. Pyre will be a high fantasy game that, according to IGN, is a “poetic, 4th-wall-breaking adventure.” You’ll level up three heroes, each with their own skill trees and battles occurring from the same overhead perspective as the developer’s previous titles. The encounters are all based around a glowing orb that’s placed in the center of a map, and two pyres on either end that you want to defend and attack. You’ll attempt to grab that beautifully glowing orb and send it into your opponent’s goal. Each character in the match is moved one at a time.

And because of the game's reliance to Microsoft Azure for destruction engine, the full scale destruction will only be available in the game's online multiplayer modes, while campaign mode, regardless of number of players, will only have access to limited degree of destruction.
